Nyx
In the silence of deep night,
Two steeds cross sky of black satin,
Her chariot stream behinds them,
Dark mists swirl into spiral pattern.
Creating dreams and visions,
To Muses’ soft lament,
Glittering stars dance around Her
Across the land her touch is sent.
Throughout the nights dark hours,
Night Queen doth move across the sky,
The shadows of nights mysteries,
Flitter in the depth of her dark eyes
When dawn does rise with dusky glow,
She returns to the underworld,
In Tartarus, Nyx awaits sundown,
To weave dark magic in mortal world.
