Welcome to Night's Neverland

Embracer

Roaming the earth while mortals sleep,
Within darkest shadows I stalk and creep,
As sunlight fades into sweetest black;
Shivers of delight ripple down my back.

Numerous years gone by and still I crave,
Sending those I touch unto their graves.
Lives once adored I steal away -
Turning them to Death's gateway.

There is one dark soul I want for mine,
To have her with me till the end of time;
Exquisite beauty, every move soft grace,
The promise of delight on her delicate face.

Long I have watched, long I have waited,
I wonder if she knows to what she is fated.
The time has come, she'll be mine this night,
My desire for her soul is burning bright.
I am death on silent black wings,
Pains ecstasy the gift that I bring.
Always close, yet hidden from sight -
Her only companion soft starlight.

I hear her breathing in the silent night -
I see her veins pumping strong with life.
Her blood is calling, singing out to me,
To taste of her will be true ecstasy.

Sensing me coming she turns around,
Her breathing now the only sound.
Words are spoken, she smiles prettily,
She doesn't see it coming; the beast in me.

Pinning her down, I kiss her lips,
She kisses back as I tighten my grip;
Her heart beats fast, I can smell her fear,
Terror on her face, and silent tears.

Piercing her neck I drink of her deep,
She sighs softly unable to speak,
So close to death, She murmurs ‘Why?’
Whispering, I ask if she wishes to die.

Mouthing no, hand upon her cheek,
This is the companion that I seek,
Running sharp nail across my chest;
My blood spills forth; the ultimate test.

Roused by blood, now upon her knees,
She prepares herself to drink of me;
Bending her head she tastes my blood,
Tongue moving softly, pleasure comes like a flood.

Warming to the taste, this girl I adore,
Now it is done she is mortal no more;
Falling to the ground pain in her eyes,
I watch with disinterest as mortality dies.

Roaming the earth our hunger burns bright,
We do as we will; creatures of the night.
